What Is NTWS-AP-UNCONFIGURED-MIB?

NTWS-AP-UNCONFIGURED-MIB is a Nortel Networks proprietary MIB (Nortel Wireless Switch/WLAN management platform) tracking access points discovered by a wireless switch but not yet assigned to a configuration profile. Its unconfigured-AP table, keyed by MAC address, records each orphan AP's discovered IP address, hardware type, and discovery timestamp. As a hardware-status/inventory MIB it lets an administrator find newly-connected access points awaiting provisioning, a first step before assigning them to a wireless switch's managed AP profile. It is deployed on Nortel Wireless (WLAN) Switch platforms. Engineers can download the NTWS-AP-UNCONFIGURED-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
