What Is NMS-MEAPS-MIB?

NMS-MEAPS-MIB is a private MIB (NMS-SMI enterprise family) configuring MEAPS (Multiple EAPS), an extension letting several EAPS ring domains share a common Ethernet ring topology. Its objects count the number of running Ethernet-domain instances and PDU send/receive activity, alongside a domain table (ID, ring count, row status) and a related ring table. As a configuration/protocol-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm how many MEAPS domains and rings are active and watch PDU counters as a sign of protocol health. It is deployed on switches (NMS SMI platform family) using Multiple EAPS ring resiliency. Engineers can download the NMS-MEAPS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in NMS-MEAPS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
