What Is NETSTAR-MIB?

NETSTAR-MIB is a vendor MIB for NetStar network devices, referencing product lines including the Gigarouter and ClusterSwitch. No module description was available, and the sample objects consist mainly of the top-level organizational identifiers (netstar, netstar-products, netstar-daemons, gigarouter, clusterswitch, gr2) rather than runtime data objects, suggesting this entry primarily defines the OID tree/registration structure rather than exposing monitorable leaf objects directly. Monitoring Examples

The sample objects available (netstar, netstar-products, netstar-daemons, gigarouter, clusterswitch, gr2) are organizational/registration identifiers rather than runtime monitoring objects, so a concrete polling scenario cannot be honestly constructed from this data; these OIDs mainly serve as the root nodes under which product-specific management objects for the Gigarouter and ClusterSwitch would be defined.
