Description: Provides conformance definitions for autoconfiguration management on Juniper Networks E-series platforms.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is Juniper-Autoconfigure-CONF?
Juniper-Autoconfigure-CONF is a Juniper Networks agent capabilities (conformance) module that documents which objects of the auto-configuration management component are implemented by the SNMP agent on Juniper E-series platforms. As an AGENT-CAPABILITIES module it does not itself define or expose any runtime monitoring data; instead it declares compliance/support metadata for another MIB's objects. It has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software runtime status, since it carries no operational counters, gauges, or status objects. It is inherently dependent on the corresponding Auto-Configuration MIB whose object support it describes. It would be referenced by NMS tooling validating SNMP agent feature support on Juniper E-series routers, not by day-to-day monitoring dashboards. Network engineers evaluating or troubleshooting this functionality can download the Juniper-Autoconfigure-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Juniper-Autoconfigure-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Juniper E-series broadband access routers
Monitoring Examples
This is a conformance/AGENT-CAPABILITIES module with no runtime data objects (no sample objects were provided), so there is no monitoring scenario to describe; its sole purpose is to declare which objects of the associated Auto-Configuration MIB the SNMP agent implements.
