What is pTrapAddrAddr?

This OID holds the IP address of a management station registered in the permanent trap table, which unlike its runtime counterpart survives a power cycle or reset. An admin configures this so the hub keeps sending traps to the same NMS after a cold reset.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.1.1.1
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Hub-facs-prvt::pTrapAddrAddr

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.1.1.1.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Hub-facs-prvt::pTrapAddrAddr.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.22.3.2.1.1.1.1 a <value>
