Description: Huawei TWAMP (Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol) MIB for managing TWAMP test sessions and round-trip delay measurements.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is HUAWEI-TWAMP-MIB?

HUAWEI-TWAMP-MIB is a Huawei Technologies Co.,Ltd. proprietary MIB implementing TWAMP (Two-Way Active Measurement Protocol). Its objects cover controller-client/sender enable flags and a sender table (ID, local/remote IP address type/address, local/remote UDP port, VRF name, DSCP, padding, description, row status, padding type, multi-flow-enable flag), plus a sender-admin table (continual flag, duration, packet count, period, timeout). As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm TWAMP test-session parameters used for round-trip latency/jitter measurement on a Huawei device. It is deployed on Huawei Technologies networking equipment (TWAMP). Engineers can download the HUAWEI-TWAMP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in HUAWEI-TWAMP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Huawei Technologies networking equipment (TWAMP)

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks hwTwampSenderAdminPacketCount and hwTwampSenderRemoteIpAddress to confirm a TWAMP test-session's target and packet volume on a Huawei device.

What Can Be Monitored

  • TWAMP test-session configuration for latency/jitter measurement
