Category: Network Interfaces, Vendor: Fibronics (Legacy)
Description: Fibronics 10BASE-T network equipment MIB providing port, hub, and connectivity management objects for Fibronics 10Mbps devices.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is FN10-MIB?
FN10-MIB is a legacy proprietary MIB (enterprise OID 3, built on BRIDGE-MIB) reporting hub/switch hardware and firmware inventory. Its objects cover system ID, reset action, trap-acknowledge/time/retry/port settings, a hardware-diagnostic code, manufacturer data, port count, a port table (index, type, subtype, diagnostic-passed flag), an uplink I/O-module presence flag and its manufacturer data, a software-fileset count, and a fileset table (index, description, count). As a status MIB it lets an administrator confirm port diagnostic results and uplink module presence on this legacy hub/switch device. It is deployed on this legacy hub/switch equipment (enterprise OID 3). Engineers can download the FN10-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in FN10-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Legacy hub/switch equipment (enterprise OID 3)
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks sxhwPortDiagPassed and sxhwUpLink to confirm port self-test results and uplink module presence on this legacy hub/switch device.
What Can Be Monitored
- port diagnostic results and uplink-module presence
