What is prtinterpreterdefaultcharsetout?
This read-only object reports the default character set used for data the interpreter sends back to the host over the backchannel, with a value of 2 meaning no default is defined. An admin troubleshooting garbled status or job-accounting text returned from the printer to a driver checks this to see which encoding the printer assumes for that outbound data. For example, if this reports ePcsAdobeStandardEncoding(2005), the admin knows any special characters in backchannel messages from that interpreter follow Adobe's standard encoding rather than plain ASCII.
