prtconsoleofftime

Module: CLJ8500-MIB

OID (symbolic): CLJ8500-MIB::prtconsoleofftime

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.4.2.2.17.6.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This object, in conjunction with prtConsoleOnTime, defines the current status of the light. If both prtConsoleOnTime and prtConsoleOffTime are non-zero, the lamp is blinking and the values presented define the on time and off time, respectively, in milliseconds. If prtConsoleOnTime is zero and prtConsoleOffTime is non-zero, the lamp is off. If prtConsoleOffTime is zero and prtConsoleOnTime is non-zero, the lamp is on. If both values are zero the status of the lamp is undefined. Additional information: There are three control panel LED's: Ready( index 1), Data ( index 2) and Attention ( index 3). The Ready and Data led flash at the rate of 500 milliseconds on followed by 500 milliseconds off. The Attention led flashes at the rate of 250 milliseconds on followed by 250 milliseconds off.

What is prtconsoleofftime?

This read-only object, together with prtConsoleOnTime, defines the current blink behavior of a console indicator light, giving the off-duration in milliseconds when blinking, or indicating the lamp is off entirely when this value is non-zero while the on-time is zero. An admin correlates this with prtConsoleOnTime to determine whether a given panel light is solidly lit, blinking, or off without needing to physically observe the printer. For example, a non-zero off-time paired with a zero on-time tells the admin that particular indicator light is currently off.
