Description: MIB for chassis profile maintenance acknowledgment and change-mode management on Cisco UCS, coordinating disruptive change scheduling and operational state transitions for hardware maintenance

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-CPMAINT-MIB?

CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-CPMAINT-MIB is a Cisco Systems proprietary MIB representing the CPMAINT (Change/Pending-Maintenance acknowledgment) management-information package within Cisco UCS Manager. Its acknowledgment table records instance ID, distinguished/relative name, whether a pending change has been acknowledged and by whom, admin state, auto-delete flag, who last changed it and change details/mode, a summary of pending changes and config issues, deployment mode, description, disruption level, ignore-capability flag, modification flag, name, prior chassis DN (for a component that moved), operational scheduler/state, and policy level. As a configuration/status MIB it lets a UCS administrator review pending disruptive changes awaiting acknowledgment before they're applied. It is deployed on Cisco UCS Manager-managed compute platforms. Engineers can download the CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-CPMAINT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-CPMAINT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cisco UCS Manager-managed compute platforms

Monitoring Examples

A UCS administrator reviews cucsCpmaintAckConfigIssues and cucsCpmaintAckDisr before acknowledging a pending change, to understand its disruption level before it takes effect.
