Description: Provides management objects for logical server maintenance policies including firmware and BIOS update scheduling on Cisco UCS/Firepower.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CISCO-FIREPOWER-LSMAINT-MIB?

CISCO-FIREPOWER-LSMAINT-MIB is part of the Cisco UCS/Firepower model-based MIB family covering logical server (blade/service profile) maintenance operations such as scheduled firmware and BIOS updates. It exposes maintenance acknowledgment objects that track whether a pending disruptive maintenance action (like a reboot for firmware update) has been acknowledged by an administrator, who acknowledged it, and details of the associated change. This is directly a software/firmware status MIB: it lets an admin monitor whether firmware/BIOS update jobs are waiting on manual acknowledgment before proceeding, preventing unexpected server reboots. As with sibling Firepower MIBs, it follows the shared Dn/Rn/InstanceId managed-object model of Cisco's UCS Manager information model rather than an external standards dependency. It is deployed on Cisco UCS/Firepower blade servers where maintenance policies gate firmware/BIOS updates behind an acknowledgment step, and administrators can download the CISCO-FIREPOWER-LSMAINT-MIB file to load it into their MIB browser for maintenance-status monitoring.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-FIREPOWER-LSMAINT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cisco UCS/Firepower blade servers

Monitoring Examples

An admin can poll cfprLsmaintAckTable/cfprLsmaintAckEntry to check cfprLsmaintAckAcked and cfprLsmaintAckAckedBy, confirming whether a pending firmware update reboot has been approved, and inspect cfprLsmaintAckChangeDetails/cfprLsmaintAckChangeMode to understand what change is queued and why a server hasn't yet rebooted into new firmware.

What Can Be Monitored

  • maintenance acknowledgment status
  • who acknowledged the change
  • admin state of pending maintenance
  • change details/mode
  • auto-delete of acknowledgment record
