Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is CISCO-DOT11-HT-PHY-MIB?

CISCO-DOT11-HT-PHY-MIB is a Cisco Systems proprietary MIB reporting 802.11n high-throughput PHY-layer capabilities on Cisco wireless LAN access points providing the wired uplink to wireless clients. Its antenna table reports which advanced PHY features — antenna selection, explicit/implicit channel-state-information feedback, sounding PPDU support — are implemented on a given radio. As a hardware-capability MIB it lets an administrator confirm which advanced 802.11n PHY features a specific AP radio supports when planning or troubleshooting high-throughput wireless deployments. It is deployed on Cisco 802.11n-capable wireless access points. Engineers can download the CISCO-DOT11-HT-PHY-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in CISCO-DOT11-HT-PHY-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Cisco 802.11n-capable wireless LAN access points

Monitoring Examples

A wireless engineer checks cD11HtPhyAntennaSelectionImplemented for an AP radio to confirm it supports antenna selection before enabling a feature that depends on it fleet-wide.
