What Is BKTEL-HFC862-OVTX-V11-MIB?
BKTEL-HFC862-OVTX-V11-MIB is a BKtel Communications proprietary MIB reporting optical-video-transmitter (OVTX) module status for the HFC862 hybrid fiber-coax headend platform. Its objects cover module count, a common module table (network-element slot, type, description, firmware ID, module width), and a measuring-values table recording optical-modulation-index (OMI), RF-gain, and relative laser-current readings each against low-low/low/current/high/high-high threshold bands. As a performance/hardware MIB it lets an administrator watch an HFC optical transmitter's laser current and RF gain against threshold bands to catch a degrading laser before service impact. It is deployed on BKtel Communications HFC862 hybrid fiber-coax headend platforms. Engineers can download the BKTEL-HFC862-OVTX-V11-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
