Description:
The value of the object tlsPipMstiPortState indicates the port's current state as defined by application of the Spanning Tree Protocol. This state controls what action a port takes on reception of a frame. If the bridge has detected a port that is malfunctioning it will place that port into the broken(6) state.
What is tlsPipMstiPortState?
This read-only OID reports the current STP state of the PIP uplink within an MSTI, such as Discarding, Learning, or Forwarding. The state controls how the port handles received frames and whether it actively participates in traffic forwarding for that instance.
