Type: TruthValue

Access: read-write

Description: The value of svcTlsBackboneLDPMacFlush specifies whether 'LDP MAC withdraw all from me' message received in the 'iVpls' domain should attempt to generate a new 'LDP MAC withdraw all from me' message in the 'bVpls' domain. Generation of the 'LDP MAC withdraw all from me' message is still constrained by the svcTlsMacFlushOnFail value in the 'bVpls'.

An inconsistentValue error is returned if an attempt is made to set this object when the value of svcVplsType is not 'iVpls'.

What is svcTlsBackboneLDPMacFlush?

This object controls whether LDP (Label Distribution Protocol) MAC withdrawal messages that arrive in an internal VPLS domain should be propagated as new withdrawal messages to the backbone VPLS domain. This is used in multi-segment VPLS deployments where the system needs to coordinate MAC learning state across different VPLS layers. An operator would enable this to ensure that when a device stops announcing a MAC address in the inner domain, the change is reflected at the backbone level.
