Description:
The value of msapTlsPlcyIgmpSnpgRobustCount specifies the robustness variable on the MSAP.
This object allows tuning for the expected packet loss on the MSAP. If a MSAP is expected to be lossy, the Robustness Variable may be increased. IGMP snooping is robust to (Robustness Variable-1) packet losses.
The value of this object is only meaningful when the value of msapTlsPlcyIgmpSnpgSendQueries is 'enabled'.
What is msapTlsPlcyIgmpSnpgRobustCount?
This read-create object sets the IGMP robustness variable for the MSAP, which determines how many times queries and leave messages are retransmitted to compensate for expected packet loss. A higher value makes IGMP snooping more tolerant of lossy network conditions at the cost of slower group state changes.
