Description: Applied Innovation AIBadger remote-access device MIB reporting hardware/firmware version, SAM board MAC address, operational status, and status-change timestamps
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is AIBADGER-MIB?
AIBADGER-MIB is an Applied Innovation Inc. (enterprise OID 1438) proprietary MIB for the AIBadger product, a device-monitoring/alarm concentrator. Its objects cover SAM firmware version, MAC address, status, time tag, response string, a trap-acknowledge action, a self-test action, a device table (index, name, MAC address, version, bipolar-violation/analog/control counts, status, status time tag, response string, trap-ack), and a bi-state alarm table (index, alarm ID, device name). As a status MIB it lets an administrator confirm monitored-device alarm state and acknowledge traps on an Applied Innovation AIBadger. It is deployed on Applied Innovation Inc. AIBadger monitoring equipment. Engineers can download the AIBADGER-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in AIBADGER-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Applied Innovation Inc. AIBadger monitoring equipment
Monitoring Examples
An administrator checks devStatus and acknowledges a pending alert via devTrapAck on an Applied Innovation AIBadger.
What Can Be Monitored
- monitored-device alarm status and trap acknowledgment
