ZTE-AN-PON-TC-MIB

Defines ZTE access node PON textual conventions and enumerated types for PON management modules.

ZTE-AN-PON-TC-MIB is a ZTE vendor-specific textual-conventions module supporting ZTE's access node PON (Passive Optical Network, e.g. GPON/EPON) product management MIBs. It defines shared enumerated types and data conventions used across ZTE's PON management modules rather than exposing operational data itself. Because it carries no runtime objects, it is not directly used to check hardware or software status, but it underlies the ZTE PON MIBs that do report optical line terminal/optical network unit status, signal levels, and port state. Engineers working with ZTE's PON product line often keep the ZTE-AN-PON-TC-MIB reference on hand to decode the enumerated status values reported by those dependent modules. Its dependency is on ZTE's broader access-node MIB framework and the base SNMPv2-SMI/TC conventions. It is deployed wherever ZTE GPON/EPON access node equipment (OLTs/ONUs) is managed via SNMP.

This module defines only textual conventions and enumerated types with no data objects or tables of its own, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe directly; it exists to be imported by ZTE's other PON management MIB modules that expose actual optical line/network unit status.
