What Is XEDIA-REG?
XEDIA-REG is the enterprise MIB module for Xedia Corporation's networking equipment, registered under the OID branch assigned by IANA, and it exposes a traffic-management class hierarchy (its "REG" name notwithstanding, it carries real runtime data, not just OID registrations) used to prioritize and rate-limit traffic on Xedia devices. Loading the XEDIA-REG MIB file into a management station exposes this traffic-class hierarchy directly, despite the module's registration-sounding name. Its primary data structure is the traffic class table (xtmClassTable/xtmClassEntry) describing per-class name, parent class, bandwidth rate, priority, boundedness, and current operational status. This lets it be used for monitoring the software/QoS status of the device: current operational status of each traffic class (xtmClassOperStatus, xtmClassOperMsg), bandwidth utilization (xtmClassBwUse), unsatisfied bandwidth demand (xtmClassUnsatisfied), and queue depth (xtmClassQueueSize) — all indicators of traffic-shaping health and congestion, rather than chassis-level hardware sensors. No explicit dependency on external standard MIBs is evident from the available data. It is deployed on Xedia routers/access devices used for WAN bandwidth management and traffic prioritization.

Monitoring Examples
An admin would poll the xtmClassTable (indexed presumably by a class identifier, with xtmClassName, xtmClassRate, and xtmClassPriority) to inventory configured traffic classes, and watch xtmClassOperStatus for a class transitioning to a fault/degraded state. A rising xtmClassUnsatisfied value alongside a growing xtmClassQueueSize would indicate that a traffic class is being starved of its configured bandwidth (xtmClassBwUse approaching or exceeding xtmClassRate), signaling network congestion needing attention.
