What Is Wellfleet-HARDWARE-MIB?
Wellfleet-HARDWARE-MIB is a legacy Wellfleet Communications (later Bay Networks/Nortel) proprietary MIB reporting chassis and module hardware identification. Its objects cover backplane ID/revision/serial number, up to four BCN power-supply status objects, BCN fan status, dual temperature sensors, fan speed, and a hardware table (slot, module/mother-board/daughter-board/baby-board ID options, revisions, and serial numbers). As a hardware-inventory/status MIB it lets an administrator confirm power-supply/fan/temperature health and exact board revisions across a legacy Wellfleet (Bay Networks/Nortel) chassis. It is deployed on legacy Wellfleet Communications (Bay Networks/Nortel) routers. Engineers can download the Wellfleet-HARDWARE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Wellfleet-HARDWARE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor.
