What Is Wellfleet-HWF-MIB?

Wellfleet-HWF-MIB is a legacy Wellfleet Communications (later Bay Networks/Nortel, built on Wellfleet-COMMON-MIB) proprietary MIB reporting Hardware Filter (HWF) driver records — only one HWF driver may be spawned per slot, so slot number alone indexes the table. Its objects cover delete/enable flags, state, slot, available-lines count, and a per-line table (state, slot, line number, circuit, capable/current max table size, current used entries, dropped-frames count). As a status/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm hardware-filter capacity and watch dropped-frame counts per line on a legacy Wellfleet (Bay Networks/Nortel) router. It is deployed on legacy Wellfleet Communications (Bay Networks/Nortel) routers (hardware filter). Engineers can download the Wellfleet-HWF-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Wellfleet-HWF-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
