What Is Wellfleet-DS3E3-MIB?

The Wellfleet-DS3E3-MIB is a Wellfleet Communications proprietary MIB for managing high-speed DS3 (T3) and E3 serial WAN interfaces on Wellfleet routers, extending basic interface management into the digital carrier transmission domain. It exposes per-interface configuration parameters (line build-out, framing, coding) together with performance-monitoring counters that track transmission errors on these high-capacity circuits. Its primary monitoring value is hardware/link health: administrators use it to verify the physical WAN port is correctly configured and to watch error counters (parity errors, coding violations, loss-of-frame events) that reveal a failing line card, bad cabling, or carrier-side circuit trouble before it causes an outage.
