What Is Wellfleet-ASYNC-MIB?

Wellfleet-ASYNC-MIB is a legacy Wellfleet Communications (later Bay Networks/Nortel) proprietary MIB reporting asynchronous serial-line configuration and traffic statistics. Its table, keyed by slot/connector, records delete/disable/state, circuit, MTU, MAC address, start protocol, RX/TX octets, RX/TX errors, RX/TX lack-of-resources, TX underflows/rejects, RX rejects/overflows/bad-octets/runts, and TX/RX queue length. As a configuration/performance MIB it lets an administrator confirm async-line configuration and watch error/queue-depth statistics on a legacy Wellfleet (Bay Networks/Nortel) router. It is deployed on legacy Wellfleet Communications (Bay Networks/Nortel) routers (async serial lines). Engineers can download the Wellfleet-ASYNC-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
