What Is WLSX-USER6-MIB?

WLSX-USER6-MIB is an Aruba Networks (WLSX) proprietary MIB module that extends Aruba's wireless LAN controller management framework to cover IPv6-addressed wireless client sessions. It exposes per-user session data such as IPv6 address association, authentication/authorization state, and role or VLAN assignment, alongside per-user traffic statistics like packets and bytes sent and received. Administrators use it primarily to monitor the operational status of IPv6 client sessions on the controller — confirming a client authenticated successfully, tracking how long a session has been active, and watching traffic counters for signs of a stalled or misbehaving client, rather than tracking hardware health of the controller itself.
