ARUBA-TC

Aruba Networks textual conventions defining shared enumeration and data types.

ARUBA-TC is a vendor-specific Aruba Networks MIB module defining shared textual conventions — common enumerations and custom data types — used across Aruba's wireless networking MIB family (controllers, access points, and related products). Like other TC-only modules, it does not define any runtime object instances, tables, or notifications of its own, so it exposes no data categories such as interfaces, environment, or client statistics directly. It therefore carries no hardware or software status information itself; uptime, AP/radio status, client counts, and similar Aruba monitoring data are defined in the functional Aruba MIB modules that import these type definitions. Consequently, an ARUBA-TC SNMP session against a controller or access point will never surface this module's own definitions as pollable data, only the type semantics it lends to other MIBs. Its dependency relationship runs the other way: essentially every Aruba wireless controller and access point MIB module relies on ARUBA-TC for consistent type representation across the product line. It is deployed alongside Aruba Networks wireless LAN controllers and access points as a supporting schema module.

ARUBA-TC defines only TEXTUAL-CONVENTION types with no sample runtime objects, tables, or traps included in this module. Actual monitoring of Aruba wireless infrastructure (AP status, client associations, RF statistics) is performed via other Aruba MIB modules that reference the types defined here. There is no direct polling scenario for this module by itself.
