Category: Juniper Unisphere ERX Conformance
Description: Defines Unisphere ERX COPS protocol MIB agent conformance groups and compliance statement objects.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is Unisphere-Data-COPS-CONF?
Unisphere-Data-COPS-CONF is an AGENT-CAPABILITIES conformance MIB describing which parts of the Common Open Policy Service (COPS) Protocol MIB are implemented by the SNMP agent on Unisphere/Juniper ERX Routing Switch products. As a conformance module it defines no runtime data objects itself; instead it declares agent capability statements used by management systems to determine feature support. It has no direct role in monitoring hardware or software operational status, since it contains no polling targets — it is purely a compliance/capability declaration used at MIB-compilation or agent-capability-negotiation time. It is inherently dependent on and paired with the companion Unisphere-Data-COPS-MIB, whose object groups it references. It is typically used by NMS tooling during agent capability discovery rather than in day-to-day monitoring dashboards. Engineers can download the Unisphere-Data-COPS-CONF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in Unisphere-Data-COPS-CONF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Monitoring Examples
This is a conformance/AGENT-CAPABILITIES module with no runtime data objects, so there is no monitoring scenario to describe; it exists solely to declare which COPS-MIB object groups and compliance levels this SNMP agent implementation supports.
