Description: MIB for managing local user accounts, AAA server settings, and CLI command privilege levels on Ubiquoss network devices

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is UBQS-SYSTEM-ACCESS-MIB?

UBQS-SYSTEM-ACCESS-MIB is a Ubiquoss proprietary MIB managing administrative access — local user accounts and AAA (RADIUS/TACACS+-style) server configuration — on Ubiquoss access/aggregation equipment. Its user table records username, password (with encryption flag), privilege level, and associated ACL name, while an AAA-server table configures protocol, address, port, key encryption type/key, and timeout, and an AAA-configuration table maps authentication/authorization/accounting type to a prioritized method list per command level. As a configuration/security MIB it lets an administrator confirm which AAA server and method order governs administrative logins. It is deployed on Ubiquoss access/aggregation equipment. Engineers can download the UBQS-SYSTEM-ACCESS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in UBQS-SYSTEM-ACCESS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Ubiquoss access/aggregation equipment

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks ubiAAAConfigMethodPriority to confirm local authentication is correctly configured as a fallback if the primary RADIUS server defined in ubiAAAServerTable becomes unreachable.
