Description:

The weight that needs to be used until the committed rate by the scheduler to which this queue would be feeding.

What is tVirtualSchedulerCIRWeight?

This parameter configures the relative weight used by the packet scheduler when distributing bandwidth up to the Committed Information Rate (CIR) limit of a virtual scheduler queue, allowing proportional sharing of guaranteed bandwidth among multiple competing queues. Queues with higher weight values receive a larger share of the CIR; for example, a queue with weight 2 receives twice the guaranteed bandwidth of a queue with weight 1. A QoS engineer uses this weight to enforce service level agreements by ensuring each traffic class gets its fair proportion of committed bandwidth during congestion.
