Description:
The value of tNetworkEgressFCForceDEValue specifies the DE value to set for network egress packets in this forwarding class regardless of profile status of the frames.
An inconsistentValue error is returned if this object is set to any value other than '-1', when tNetworkEgressFCDEMark object is set to 'false'.
What is tNetworkEgressFCForceDEValue?
This object forces a specific Discard Eligibility (DE) bit value on outgoing network traffic for a forwarding class, overriding the normal QoS marking. An operator uses this to ensure consistent packet drop priority at the network egress regardless of how packets were marked ingress. Setting a DE value controls which packets are dropped first during congestion.
