Description: The value of tmnxOamPmNotifThrStateType indicates whether or not the OAM-PM threshold crossing being reported is stateful.
The code points are as follows. stateful (1) - a clearing threshold is defined for the condition. stateless(2) - a clearing threshold is not defined for the condition.
The DESCRIPTION clause of tmnxOamPmCfgThrLossChliClear explains the change in behavior when a clearing threshold is defined.
What is tmnxOamPmNotifThrStateType?
Carried in an OAM-PM threshold-crossing trap to indicate whether the condition is stateful(1) (a clearing threshold is configured, so a matching Clear trap will eventually follow) or stateless(2) (no clear threshold configured, so Raise traps can repeat without ever being followed by a Clear). Lets a trap receiver decide whether to wait for an explicit Clear or to auto-expire the alarm after some time.
