Description: The value of tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpNhAddress specifies the next-hop IP address to be used by IP tests belonging to the specified session.

tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpNhAddressType and tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpNhAddress must be set in one SNMP PDU.

At most one of tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpBypassRouting, tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpEgressIfName, and tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpNhAddress can be set to a non-default value.

What is tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpNhAddress?

Specifies a next-hop IP address (default empty) that overrides normal route selection for this session's ping-based IP test -- mutually exclusive with bypass-routing or a named egress interface. Admins use this to force the test down a specific next hop, e.g. to validate one path of a multi-path route before a failover.
