Description: The value of tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpBypassRouting specifies whether or not to send the ping request (for an IP test which belongs to the specified session) to a host on a directly attached network, bypassing the routing table.

At most one of tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpBypassRouting, tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpEgressIfName, and tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpNhAddress can be set to a non-default value.

What is tmnxOamPmCfgSessIpBypassRouting?

When true (default false), tells the session's ping-based IP test to send directly to a host on a locally attached network, bypassing the routing table lookup entirely -- mutually exclusive with setting an egress interface or next-hop address. Used to test reachability of a directly connected neighbor even if no route to it exists yet.
