vRtrIsisL2MacAddress
Module: TIMETRA-ISIS-MIB
OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-ISIS-MIB::vRtrIsisL2MacAddress
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.10.1.1.1.58
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: MacAddress
Access: read-write
Description: The value of vRtrIsisL1MacAddress specifies the destination MAC address for all L2 ISIS neighbors on the link for this ISIS instance.
What is vRtrIsisL2MacAddress?
The destination MAC address (default 01-80-C2-00-00-15) IS-IS uses to send Level 2 Hello/LSP frames to all L2 neighbors on a LAN. Note: the source MIB's own DESCRIPTION for this object literally says 'vRtrIsisL1MacAddress specifies the destination MAC address for all L2 ISIS neighbors', an apparent copy-paste artifact from the L1 object's definition -- this explanation follows the object's own real name and DEFVAL (the distinct L2 multicast address) rather than propagating that mislabeled text.
