vRtrGmplsPeerHelloInterval

Module: TIMETRA-GMPLS-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-GMPLS-MIB::vRtrGmplsPeerHelloInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.97.9.1.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-create

Description: The value of vRtrGmplsPeerHelloInterval specifies the length of time in milliseconds, between the hello packets that the router sends on the interface.

When the value of vRtrGmplsPeerHelloInterval is set to 0, the sending of hello messages is disabled.

What is vRtrGmplsPeerHelloInterval?

Sets, in milliseconds (default 3000), the interval between RSVP Hello packets sent to this peer; setting it to 0 disables Hello sending entirely. Admins shorten it for faster neighbor-down detection, or disable Hellos if the peer relies solely on refresh-based liveness detection.
