vRtrGmplsPathIndexNext

Module: TIMETRA-GMPLS-MIB

OID (symbolic): TIMETRA-GMPLS-MIB::vRtrGmplsPathIndexNext

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.97.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: The value of vRtrGmplsPathIndexNext indicates the next appropriate value to be used for vRtrGmplsPathIndex when creating entries in the vRtrGmplsPathTable. If the number of unassigned entries is exhausted, a retrival operation will return a value of 0. To obtain the value of vRtrGmplsPathIndex for a new entry, the manager must first issue a management protocol retrieval operation to obtain the current value of this object. The agent should modify the value to reflect the next unassigned index after each retrieval operation. After a manager retrieves a value the agent will determine through its local policy when this index value will be made available for reuse.

What is vRtrGmplsPathIndexNext?

Read-only next available index value to use when creating a new row in the GMPLS Path Table; returns 0 if no unassigned indexes remain. Management stations read this before creating a new GMPLS path row via SNMP, per the standard SNMP row-creation convention.
