What Is TERAWAVE-teraEPS-MIB?
TERAWAVE-teraEPS-MIB is a Terawave Communications proprietary MIB (enterprise OID 4513) implementing EPS (Equipment Protection Switching) at three levels — system, PON link, and PON link card — on Terawave PON access equipment. Its per-level configuration tables record the protecting unit, administrative protect-switch action and status with a reason code, and operational protect-switch state, reason, and source (for the top-level table). As a configuration/hardware-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm which unit is currently protecting a given level and understand why a recent protection switchover occurred. It is deployed on Terawave Communications PON access equipment. Engineers can download the TERAWAVE-teraEPS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TERAWAVE-teraEPS-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
