Description: Defines Teldat router FTP event trap notifications.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is TELDAT-TRAP-FTP-MIB?
TELDAT-TRAP-FTP-MIB is a Teldat, S.A. proprietary MIB defining SNMP notifications generated by the FTP event subsystem on Teldat routers. Its varbind objects cover the FTP command string and reply code/string across four notification levels, referenced by four numbered ftpNotification traps. As a notification MIB it lets an administrator receive detailed FTP-transaction event alerts (command issued, server reply) from a Teldat router's FTP client/server subsystem. It is deployed on Teldat, S.A. routers. Engineers can download the TELDAT-TRAP-FTP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-TRAP-FTP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- Teldat, S.A. routers
Monitoring Examples
An administrator investigates an ftpNotification4 trap and reads ftp4-ftp-reply-code to diagnose a failed FTP transfer on a Teldat router.
