Category: Teldat Router Management, VoIP and Telephony

Description: Monitors Teldat router VoIP interface registration status, active call count, and voice quality metrics.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is TELDAT-MON-INTERF-VOIP-MIB?

TELDAT-MON-INTERF-VOIP-MIB is a Teldat proprietary monitoring MIB covering VoIP interfaces on Teldat routers/gateways, reporting line registration and operational state, active call information, and voice-quality-related statistics. It structures data into command tables (e.g. teldatVOIPCmdLineTable, teldatVOIPCmdInterfaceTable) for line/interface control and status tables (teldatVOIPInfoInterfaceTable) plus active- and released-call CDR (call detail record) tables described in the module. This is a software/service-status monitor for the router's voice functionality: it lets an operator confirm each VoIP line is registered and in service, see how many calls are currently active, and review recently released calls' CDRs to diagnose dropped or failed calls, which is central to keeping voice service healthy on a converged router. It is a Teldat proprietary extension used in place of, or alongside, vendor-neutral VoIP MIBs when Teldat's own VoIP subsystem is active. It is deployed on Teldat routers that integrate a VoIP gateway function, in enterprise or branch-office telephony deployments, where TELDAT-MON-INTERF-VOIP-MIB SNMP monitoring supports call quality and availability tracking.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-MON-INTERF-VOIP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Teldat router
  • Teldat VoIP gateway/router

Monitoring Examples

An administrator queries teldatVOIPInfoInterfaceTable, indexed by teldatVOIPInfoInterfaceIndex, to check the operational/registration state of each VoIP line and cross-references the active- and released-call CDR tables described in the module to see current call volume and how recently terminated calls ended. teldatVOIPCmdInterfaceBypass on teldatVOIPCmdInterfaceTable shows whether a line has been administratively bypassed, for example during a PSTN failover. teldatVOIPCmdStatsClear can be invoked against a given teldatVOIPCmdVoipIfcIndex/teldatVOIPCmdLineIndex to reset counters after establishing a new monitoring baseline following a configuration change.

What Can Be Monitored

  • VoIP line/interface registration state
  • active call count
  • call detail records (CDRs) for active and released calls
  • interface bypass status
