Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-NAPT-MIB?

TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-NAPT-MIB is a Teldat, S.A. proprietary MIB monitoring NAPT (Network Address Port Translation) session and port-pool usage on Teldat routers. Its NAPT table, keyed by index, records source address/port, translated (new) port, session age, and two delta counters, a connection table records source address/identifier, new identifier, and age, and further objects report reserved/used/free port-address and identifier-address pool sizes and per-interface used/free port counts. As a performance MIB it lets an administrator watch NAPT port-pool exhaustion and active session counts on a Teldat router. It is deployed on Teldat, S.A. routers. Engineers can download the TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-NAPT-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in TELDAT-MON-PROTOCOL-NAPT-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Teldat, S.A. routers

Monitoring Examples

An administrator monitors telProdNpMonProtIPNAPTMemUsedPorts against the reserved pool size to catch NAPT port-pool exhaustion on a Teldat router.
