Description: Defines SWAPCOM SCC trap notifications for power events, outlet state changes, and device alerts.

Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.

What Is SWAPCOM-SCC-TRAPS?

SWAPCOM-SCC-TRAPS is a small proprietary MIB (enterprise OID 11308, built on the vendor's SWAPCOM-SCC SMI) defining application-health trap notifications for a Service Control Center (SCC) platform. Its objects are individually-named fault conditions: SQL connection-pool unavailable or with a high count of checked-out connections, SLS (a backend service) unavailable, remote-platform unavailable, and a scheduler-task error. As a notification MIB it lets an administrator get alerted the moment a backend database-pool or scheduling problem arises on the SCC platform. It is deployed on this vendor's Service Control Center (SCC) platform. Engineers can download the SWAPCOM-SCC-TRAPS file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SWAPCOM-SCC-TRAPS. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

Supported Devices

  • Service Control Center (SCC) platform

Monitoring Examples

An administrator subscribes to sqlPoolHighCheckedOutConnections to get an early warning of database connection-pool exhaustion before it causes application failures on the SCC platform.

What Can Be Monitored

  • SQL pool, backend service, and scheduler-task health notifications
