What Is SWAPCOM-SNMP?
SWAPCOM-SNMP is a vendor MIB for SWAPCOM SNMP-enabled devices that exposes platform- and application-level identity and status information, including platform ID and status, platform/application product name, version, build number, and build date, plus a table of remote platforms and a generic notification message object. Its data is squarely software-status oriented: it lets a monitoring system confirm exactly which product and firmware/software build a device and its managed application are running, and whether the platform is reporting itself operational via platformPlatformStatus. The remotePlatformTable extends this to track the status of remote/peer platforms from a single vantage point, useful in distributed SWAPCOM deployments. There is no evidence of dependency on other standard MIBs beyond basic SNMP notification conventions (notificationMessage). It is deployed on SWAPCOM SNMP-managed devices/applications where operators need to verify software version consistency and platform health across a fleet. Engineers can download the SWAPCOM-SNMP file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SWAPCOM-SNMP. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

An administrator would poll platformVersionProductVersion and platformVersionBuildNumber/BuildDate to confirm every device in the fleet is running the expected build, flagging any unit whose applicationVersionProductVersion has drifted from the baseline after a partial rollout. Watching platformPlatformStatus reveals whether the local platform is healthy, while walking remotePlatformTable identifies any remote peer platform that has dropped out of a normal status; notificationMessage would surface accompanying trap text explaining the change.
