What Is SERVERVIEW-STATUS-MIB?

SERVERVIEW-STATUS-MIB is a Fujitsu MIB that provides an aggregated, top-level status summary for a server managed by the Fujitsu ServerView systems-management agent, rolling up the health of individual hardware subsystems into one overall status value. It exposes agent identification data (company, version, build) alongside a system-wide status value, a last-error message, and a table enumerating each monitored subsystem. This makes it squarely a hardware/software health-monitoring MIB: sieStSystemStatusValue gives an at-a-glance overall server health state (e.g. OK, warning, critical) while sieStSubsystemTable breaks that down per component (such as power supplies, fans, temperature sensors, or disks depending on the underlying ServerView subsystem MIBs). It depends on and summarizes data collected by the broader Fujitsu ServerView SNMP agent MIB family covering individual component MIBs (fans, power, storage, etc.), acting as a roll-up rather than a primary data source. It is typically deployed on Fujitsu PRIMERGY servers where ServerView Agent software is installed to provide unified SNMP-based hardware health monitoring. Engineers can download the SERVERVIEW-STATUS-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in SERVERVIEW-STATUS-MIB. An administrator would poll sieStSystemStatusValue as a quick health check across many Fujitsu servers, then drill into sieStSubsystemTable/sieStSubsystemNumber to identify which specific subsystem (e.g. power, thermal, storage) triggered a degraded status. sieStSystemLastErrorMessage would be checked to get a human-readable description of the most recent fault, useful for a monitoring dashboard that needs a quick-glance alert without polling every individual component MIB. sieStAgentVersionString and sieStAgentBuild help confirm the ServerView agent software version when troubleshooting inconsistent reporting.
