Description: A rcCardUp trap signifies that the SNMPv2 entity, acting in an agent role, has detected that the rcCardOperStatus object for one of its cards is about to transition into the up state.

What is rcnCardUp?

This alert fires when a hardware card (like a processor or port module) in a network switch transitions from down to up status, signaling the card just came online or recovered from failure. This indicates successful recovery or successful replacement. A network operator uses this to track when failed hardware components are restored to service.
