Description:
Limits the amount of traffic from this Ingress port.
What is rcPortIngressRateLimit?
This read-write parameter specifies a bandwidth limit in kilobits per second for incoming traffic on a switch port, with valid values ranging from 1,000 to 10,000,000 kbps. When enabled via the companion rcPortIngressRateLimitState object, the port will police (drop or mark) traffic exceeding this limit to prevent congestion and enforce quality-of-service policies. Network administrators configure this to prevent a single port from consuming all available bandwidth and causing network-wide performance degradation.
