The priority of this neighbor in the designat- ed router election algorithm. The value 0 sig- nifies that the neighbor is not eligible to be- come the designated router on this particular network.

What is rcOspfv3NbrPriority?

This object reports the priority value (0-255) of an OSPFv3 neighbor, which influences the election of designated router (DR) and backup designated router (BDR) on a shared network link. A priority of 0 means the neighbor is ineligible to become a DR, useful for excluding certain routers from these special roles. Operators monitor this value to understand the DR election outcome and may adjust neighbor priorities to steer traffic patterns or ensure failover behavior.
