Description:

If the frame size is specified then the data size shall be internally calculated and the calculated data size shall be included in the data TLV.

What is rcCfmTransmitL2PingFrameSize?

This read-write object sets the payload size (in octets, range 0 to 9600) for Connectivity Fault Management Layer 2 ping frames being transmitted, with the system automatically calculating the corresponding data size included in the data TLV. Network operators configure this value to test network performance and latency with different frame sizes, simulating real application traffic patterns. Adjusting frame size helps identify MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) mismatches and measure how network elements handle various payload sizes.
