This object allows administrators to enable or disable a Connectivity Fault Management (CFM) Maintenance End Point (MEP) for operational purposes, controlling whether the MEP actively participates in continuity checking and fault management operations. When disabled, the MEP stops sending heartbeat messages and responding to requests, effectively removing it from the fault management domain. Operators use this to manage which endpoints are actively monitored and to temporarily remove endpoints from monitoring during maintenance.
