What is rc2kAtmVPortStatsOutDiscards?
This counter tracks the total number of AAL5 data packets that were prepared for transmission but dropped due to resource constraints. High values indicate the switch is discarding outbound ATM traffic, causing user-visible packet loss. An operator monitors this during congestion events to confirm the port is hitting its throughput ceiling.
