What Is RADLAN-TRAPS-MIB?

This is a Marvell/Radlan private MIB defining SNMP trap notifications for system-level events on switch platforms built on the Radlan embedded switch software stack, widely OEM'd by many switch vendors. Without sample objects available, its content is inferred to be primarily notification/trap definitions rather than a rich set of polled data objects, covering events such as system state changes, faults, or configuration events. Its monitoring value is in fault/event awareness—receiving asynchronous traps that flag hardware or software events (e.g., link state changes, power events, or system resets) as they happen rather than through periodic polling. It is part of Radlan's private enterprise MIB family, commonly used alongside other Radlan-based switch MIBs (interfaces, VLAN, etc.) on OEM switch platforms.
