What Is RADLAN-BOOTP-MIB?

RADLAN-BOOTP-MIB is a Radlan (Marvell Semiconductor) proprietary MIB configuring BOOTP relay. Its objects cover the BOOTP server address, relay security threshold, and an action table (ifIndex, status, host name). As a configuration MIB it lets an administrator confirm BOOTP relay-server addressing and per-interface relay actions on a Radlan (Marvell) based switch. It is deployed on Radlan (Marvell) based managed switches. Engineers can download the RADLAN-BOOTP-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.

IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in RADLAN-BOOTP-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.

What Can Be Monitored

  • BOOTP relay server and per-interface action configuration

Supported Devices

  • Radlan (Marvell) based managed switches

Monitoring Examples

An administrator checks rndBootPServerAddress to confirm the correct BOOTP relay server is configured on a Radlan (Marvell) based switch.
